The endoscopic submucosal dissection technique was a milestone in dissecting large tissue defects minimal-invasively in one single piece. Yet this technique is associated with long procedure durations and high complication rates with regard to thermal defects. The electrode designs influence on the thermal tissue impact is therefore experimentally assessed. Furthermore a novel and innovative treatment device is designed, implemented and validated in an in-vivo animal study and clinical evaluation. Die Endoskopische Submukosa Dissektion war ein Meilenstein in der endoskopischen Abtragung von großflächigen Gewebedefekten im Ganzen. Die Nachteile der Intervention sind lange Untersuchungsdauern und erhöhte thermisch bedingte Komplikationsraten. Infolgedessen wird der Einfluss des Elektrodendesigns auf thermische Gewebeschädigung experimentell untersucht. Des Weiteren wird ein neues, innovatives Instrument konzipiert und durch eine in-vivo Tierstudie und eine klinische Bewertung validiert.
