A random collision at the baggage carousel in Denver International Airport precipitates a mysterious sequence of events. Kaley is drawn into an investigation and is suspected by both the police and the villains. MidVail, cocaine, sinister relatives, suspicious accountants, phony murder confessions, computer wizardry, aerobics, bullet-proof horses, ski patrol, backpacks, missing planes, snowmobiles, and double diamond slopes, all have to be resolved before Kaley and Mitch trust the depth of their feelings.
