En savoir plus sur le livre
Set in an English drawing room, this one-act play explores themes of deception and romantic entanglements. The characters include Henry, a charming young man, a distressed middle-aged woman named Aurora, and her husband, Teddy. Aurora is upset over the disappearance of love poems written by Henry. When confronted by Teddy, Henry attempts to divert suspicion by claiming the poems were inspired by the goddess Aurora. The play culminates in Teddy's desire to publish the poems as a tribute to his wife, leading to the ironic title suggestion by Henry.
