Simply Leadership is a book written to act as a guide to the characteristics of leadership. It's a collection of simple to read propositions for those looking for a little inspiration or a gentle reminder of the traits of successful leaders. The first thing to know is that your ability to lead can't be enabled by reading a book. It takes hard work, personal sacrifice and a willingness to put the needs of others above yourself. This book is written as a guide to highlight some of the characteristics of leadership. It does this by breaking down the qualities, knowledge, attitude, approach and values of successful leadership and presents these as propositions that are then explained as short sections. Each section is designed to be read in about 60 seconds so that you can dip in and out of the book easily. There are over 300 different propositions that are explained, so there's plenty to choose from. This is not a book to guide your life. There is a wealth of opinion and subjective advice.
