By engaging with the clear architecture of the Langen Foundation, AlicjaKwade has conceived an exhibition that extends well into the vast premises and emphasizes the transition between inside and outside.0"When I encountered the building, I had a strong sense of horizontality and continuity; you only experience the architecture as you walk through it. For this reason, I almost exclusively show works that contain temporal intervals and develop in a sequence of different states." She tries to break these causal chains and make all works readable from both sides: everything is beginning and end and vice versa. The catalog created on the occasion of the exhibition Kausalkonsequenz is rather an object, a monolith reminiscent of the light concrete building.
