Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss, OBE, born on 17th September 1929, West Kensington, London, England, UK, was a British Formula One racing driver. An inductee into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, Stirling won 212 of the 529 races that he entered in several categories of competition, having been described as ‘the greatest driver never to win the World Championship’. Moss finished as championship runner-up 4 times between 1955 - 1961, coming 3rd in the other 3 years.
