This title is an advanced but not specifically examination-oriented text - though if a student works through this book he or she should be able to pass proficiency as far as his knowledge of the language is concerned. It contains 15 units, each in three parts, which together includes reading texts and dialogues with exercises - including misprints, spot-the-mistake, cryptic crosswords, role-play and pronunciation work - appropriate at this level. Styles of English receive particular attention.
