En savoir plus sur le livre

The European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) is an annual initiative, launched in 2009, that recognises emerging fiction in Europe. It is financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, which aims to strengthen Europe's cultural and creative sectors. The Prize is open to 42 countries currently involved in the Creative Europe programme. Each year, national organisations in one third of the participating countries nominate a novel they trust has the potential to find an audience outside of their national borders, with all participating countries and language areas being represented over a 3-year cycle. This fifth cycle of the project marks a restructuring of the Prize, with a seven-member European jury now choosing one award winner for each edition of the EUPL, along with five special mentions. All nominated authors will be promoted continuously on a European stage, aiming to reach a wider and international audience and to connect with readers beyond their national and linguistic borders.
