Feng shui is also called Chinese Geomancy. Although literally feng shui means "wind" and "water", it really deals with the workings of mysterious earth forces which are believed to be responsible for determining health, prosperity, and good luck. Feng shui therefore is the art and science of directing, balancing and harmonizing these forces, called ch'i, for the benefit of mankind.... This book is divided into two major portions. The first parts deals with a simple discussion of the origin and evolution of feng shui which involve a deep and wide application of Chinese philosophy and thoughts.
