En savoir plus sur le livre

This is a commentary on the more complicated issues of Northern Irish politics, including the undiminshed support for the IRA and the question of de-commissioning. Des Wilson is a diocesan priest whose mission to Ballymurphy, one of West Belfast's poorest ghettos, caused him to try an alternative theology and reject the irrelevant instructions of his bishops. He has now turned an informed eye upon the intractable "Northern Situation". He gives an anti-establishment analysis of the history of Ulster in the past 100 years. He contends that all British governments have deliberately manipulated both the so-called "industrious loyal" Protestants and "feckless" Catholics for their own economic purposes, and that the Dublin Government and the Church have co-operated in the matter.
