An extensively revised and completely reset edition of one of the most successful African language dictionaries ever published. Originally compiled by Dr. T. J. Kriel, a highly respected educationist and authority on the language, this book has been a steady seller since first published in 1971. The main aims of the revision were to make the dictionary even more user-friendly and to bring it thoroughly up to date. Almost 3,000 new words have been added, and spelling in both languages has been brought in line with contemporary usage.
