The aim of the book is to understand the endodontic obturation of a root canal system, to fill voids, promote a hermetic seal, and prevent the ingress of bacteria into the periapical tissue. Although gutta-percha has been used for canal obturation for the past 40 years, techniques and sealers have evolved during this time.
