Nurturing and education in Germany is still very much in female hands. What effect does that have on boys? How can women see to it that their relationship with boys goes beyond simple care and supervision? To establish a good relationship between child care workers and boys, the female caretaker has to learn to always be aware of her limits as a woman. If we are to approach boys with open eyes and ears, we must look for a common path.
