This work is an ode to the city and the urban task, advocating for a return to the fundamentals of urban planning. Groningen is highlighted as a pivotal case study, as the authors have devoted their passion to this city. Urban planner Jeroen de Willigen served as city architect there for six years, providing the framework for this publication.
