Hardbound. ESPRIT (European Strategic Programme for Research in Information Technology) is the most ambitious cooperative research programme ever embarked upon in Europe. It spans the area of information technology, enabling cooperation of several hundred large and small industrial companies and research institutions throughout twelve European nations. This volume comprises 82 technical papers selected from the 110 ongoing projects.
