Cinq ans après avoir écrit "Porsche Speedster", le Docteur Michel Thiriar publie un nouvel ouvrage consacré à Porsche. Il s'agit du premier tome d'une Epopée qui débute à la naissance du Professeur Ferdinand Porsche et doit se terminer au cinquantième anniversaire de la célèbre firme. Le premier volume s'achève en 1948 à Gmünd en Autriche juste avant que la première Porsche 356 dite N° 1 effectue ses premiers tours de roue. Five years after writing "Porsche Speedster", Dr Michel Thiriar is publishing a new work about Porsche. This is the first volume of an Epic that begins with the birth of Professor Ferdinand Porsche and should end with the famous company's fiftieth anniversary. The first volume closes in 1948 in Gmünd, Austria just before the first Porsche 356, the No. 1, has its first outing.
