Wilfrid Sellars

    Wilfrid Sellars fut un philosophe américain réputé pour sa critique de l'épistémologie fondationnaliste. Son objectif central était de réconcilier les manières intuitives de comprendre le monde avec une description scientifique et naturaliste de la réalité. Sellars a magistralement synthétisé des éléments du pragmatisme américain, de la philosophie analytique britannique et américaine, et du positivisme logique avec la tradition allemande de l'idéalisme transcendantal. Son œuvre est célébrée pour son argumentation sophistiquée et sa quête d'une vision synoptique.
