Do velmi čtivé formy jej upravil a vysvětlujícím textem doplnil jeho syn, profesor politologie. Na závěr knihy navíc zařadil vlastní, poměrně zajímavou, úvahu nad důsledky 1. světové války pro další vývoj ve světě ve 20. století. Mapky, fotografie, seznam literatury.
