Le copsmoschtroumpf : Un Schtroumpf rêve de partir dans les étoiles et va se construire une fusée. Malheureusement, trop rudimentaire, elle ne décolle pas et il est triste de ne pouvoir accomplir son rêve. Le Grand Schtroumpf décide de l'aider : lui et les autres Schtroumpfs lui font croire que la fusée est réparée et qu'elle marche, le font dormir pendant des jours puis vont s'installer dans un vieux volcan éteint avec la fusée et le Schtroumpf. Là-bas, ils se déguisent en extraterrestres à la peau rouge appelés Schlips et accueillent le Cosmoschtroumpf qui se croit vraiment débarqué sur une autre planète

Le pollen servira ensuite d'antidote à la maladie des Schtroumpfs noirs. Mais il sera à son tour contaminé par la morsure d'un faux bleu qui s'est accidentellement infiltré parmi les quelques Schtroumpfs bleus encore indemnes de la terrible maladie.

Belgický výtvarník si totiž pro v pořadí třetí rozsáhlý příběh o šmoulech vymyslel novou postavu – šmoulinu, později Šmoulinku, kterou vyčaroval zlý čaroděj Gargamel, aby rozvrátila pohodu ve šmoulí vesničce. Šmoulince se to málem podaří, ale když si uvědomí, co způsobila, začne toho sama litovat.

Šmoulové se rozhodnou, že už je nebaví stále pracovat a zvelebovat svou vesničku. Nutně si potřebují odpočinout a tak se vydají k jezeru do hor, kde si postaví malé lázně. Zanedlouho se však v lázních objeví všichni šmoulové a začne tam být poněkud těsno. A jak tenhle problém vyřeší Taťka Šmoula? Vše se navíc zkomplikuje, když šmoulí vesničku konečně objeví Gargamel a ne a ne odejít. Příběh napsal a nakreslil Thierry Culliford, syn autora šmoulů Pierra Culliforda, zvaného Peyo. Jak je vidět z tohoto příběhu, Thierry důstojně a nápaditě pokračuje v díle svého otce.

Šmoulové se poprvé objevili v roce 1958 jako vedlejší postavy v historickém fantastickém komiksu Johan et Pirlouit. Příběh Černí šmoulové je však prvním samostatným příběhem, v němž se modří hrdinové představili čtenářům jako svérázný národ žijící ve skrytém Šmoulím kraji. Komiks vyšel roku 1959, ve stejném roce vyšel i příběh Lovec šmoulů, v němž měli svou premiéru Gargamel a jeho kocour Azrael, oba pověstní nepřátelé šmoulího národa. Čeští čtenáři tak mají možnost se seznámit s úplnými počátky šmoulí historie.
