Now that cinema is abandoning analogue production, the cinematographic work of Paolo Gioli is even more meaningful in the debate on the position of cinema and media art in the digital era. The book expands reflections developed at the Film Forum Festival (Gorizia, 17th March 2013) dedicated to Gioli, presenting an original text authored by him.
