    Carrie Fisher était une actrice, scénariste et auteure américaine, surtout célèbre pour son interprétation de la Princesse Leia dans la trilogie originale de Star Wars. Fisher était la fille du chanteur Eddie Fisher et de l'actrice Debbie Reynolds. Elle a eu une fille, Billie Lourd (née en 1992). Son dernier film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, est sorti le 15 décembre 2017 et lui est dédié.
