Kyle Mills

    21 mars 1966

After 9/11, the U.S. struck a secretive deal to bury evidence against the Saudis involved in the attacks, with King Faisal agreeing to maintain oil supplies and address threats within his kingdom. However, when the king's nephew is found funding ISIS, the president doubts the Saudis' commitment to the agreement. He enlists Mitch Rapp to send a message, but Rapp must operate independently, as America cannot be seen acting against an ally. Quitting the CIA, Rapp gathers a team of independent contractors to investigate the ties between the Saudi government and ISIS. Their efforts attract the attention of the new head of the intelligence directorate, who threatens to expose the post-9/11 agreement, risking an international incident that could jeopardize the president's career. In response, the president orders intelligence agencies to assist the Saudis in capturing Rapp. Alone and pursued by a powerful manhunt, Rapp, with a team of mercenaries of questionable loyalty, races against time to clear his name and confront the Saudis. The stakes are high, and Rapp must navigate a treacherous path where capture or death looms near. Will he succeed in turning the tables?

The #1 New York Times bestselling novel that picks up where The Last Man left off, The Survivor is a no-holds-barred race to save America…and Mitch Rapp’s finest battle. When Joe “Rick” Rickman, a former golden boy of the CIA, steals a massive amount of the Agency’s most classified documents in an elaborately masterminded betrayal of his country, CIA director Irene Kennedy has no choice but to send her most dangerous weapon after him: elite covert operative Mitch Rapp. Rapp quickly dispatches the traitor, but Rickman proves to be a deadly threat to America even from beyond the grave. Eliminating Rickman didn’t solve all of the CIA’s problems—in fact, mysterious tip-offs are appearing all over the world, linking to the potentially devastating data that Rickman managed to store somewhere only he knew. It’s a deadly race to the finish as both the Pakistanis and the Americans search desperately for Rickman’s accomplices, and for the confidential documents they are slowly leaking to the world. To save his country from being held hostage to a country set on becoming the world’s newest nuclear superpower, Mitch Rapp must outrun, outthink, and outgun his deadliest enemies yet.

    • Special Agent Mark Beamon is a maverick. His open disdain for the FBI's rules - and Directors - has exiled him to a no-profile post in the boondocks. But when a shadowy right-wing group starts flooding America's emergency rooms with dead and dying, Beamon is summoned back to Washington. Teamed with an icily efficient female field agent, he is given the thankless task of stopping the slaughter-even though millions of Americans secretly approve of it. As the body count rises, Beamon realizes there is something eerily familiar about his adversary, reminding him of the coldest killer he ever encountered - not a criminal but a law enforcement colleague. And for the first time, he wonders why he was chosen for this assignment. Was it his expertise - or his expendability?
