ale na koniec pozostaje w nas czysta euforia. „The New Yorker” Tak się robi
współczesną popkulturę. To hybryda gatunkowa. Hazel ucieka od męża (dramat
obyczajowy), prezesa gigantycznej korporacji technologicznej zbierającej
niemal wszystkie możliwe dane o wszystkich (dystopia hi-tech), po to, by
zamieszkać z ojcem, przeżywającym drugą młodość u boku seks-lalki (komedia). W
losach bohaterki każdy z nas może się przejrzeć niczym w mockumencie. Jestem
też przekonany, że Alissa Nutting od początku pisała swoją powieść w nadziei,
że padnie łupem jakiegoś producenta filmowego. Udało się, bo miało się udać.
