Tatian

    Tatian était un écrivain et théologien chrétien primitif assyrien dont l'œuvre témoigne d'un profond engagement envers les textes bibliques et la philosophie. Sa contribution la plus significative est le Diatessaron, une harmonie des quatre Évangiles qui est devenue un texte standard dans les églises syriaques. La conversion de Tatian fut motivée par sa répulsion pour les cultes païens, le conduisant à devenir un disciple de Justin Martyr, avec qui il partageait une approche philosophique de la religion. Ses écrits et ses vues ascétiques ont profondément façonné le développement de l'église syriaque et de la théologie chrétienne primitive.
