Text inšpirovaný minuloročnou synodou o „mladých, viere a rozlišovaní povolania“ publikovali v utorok 2. apríla vo vatikánskom Tlačovom stredisku. Exhortácia pozostáva z 9 kapitol a obsahuje 299 článkov. V mimoriadne srdečne ladenej exhortácii, ktorú by si mal prečítať každý mladý človek, sa pápež zaoberá nasledovnými tematickými okruhmi: Čo hovorí o mladých Božie slovo; Ježiš Kristus, stále mladý; Mladí sú Božie „teraz“; Úžasná správa pre všetkých mladých; Cesty mladých;, Mladí s koreňmi; Pastorácia mladých; Povolanie a Rozlišovanie.

Promluvy od Svaté Marty. Už jsme si zvykli na to, že papež František se po zvolení odmítl přestěhovat do papežského apartmánu v Apoštolském paláci, ale ubytoval se v malém bytě Domu sv. Marty. V tamní kapli slouží každé ráno mši svatou, při níž pronáší krátkou promluvu. Promluvy od Svaté Marty začalo záhy sledovat mnoho lidí z celého světa, u nás především díky webovým stránkám české sekce rádia Vatikán. Vycházejí z Božího slova a přinášejí nezředěnou zvěst evangelia, ale je v nich přítomen i autentický František: jeho typické důrazy, zemité příměry i jezuitská spiritualita. Papež v ní interpretuje Velepíseň lásky z prvního listu Korinťanům (1 Kor 13,4–7). Pavlova slova vztahuje velice prakticky na život v manželství. Upozorňuje na řadu pastí a obtíží, které manželům na cestě životem hrozí. Hlavně však poukazuje na krásu manželství a na jeho neprobádané zdroje a možnosti. Radí, jak láskyplný vztah rozvíjet, očišťovat a posilovat. Knížečka bude užitečnou pomůckou pro ty, kdo se na manželství teprve připravují, ale osloví i ty, kdo v něm už léta žijí a nechtějí ustrnout na půli cesty. Může být námětem pro setkávání manželských společenství či duchovních obnov ve farnostech.

Rozhovor, který na podzim 2013 vedl s papežem Františkem jeho spolubratr a redaktor známého italského čtrnáctideníku Civilta Cattolica P. Antonio Spadaro SJ. Díky četbě jejich rozhovoru se čtenáři otevře v celé šíři vize papeže Františka o světě, ve kterém žije on i my, a také jeho „obyčejná“ lidská stránka.

Promluvy s Argentiny ukazují na pastýřskou péči kardinála Jorgeho Maria Bergoglia o Kristovu církev, ale i vnímavost pro konkrétní problémy společnosti v jeho domovině. Jde o promluvy, které přednesl ještě jako arcibiskup Buenos Aires v letech 2006 až 2013, tedy v době těsně před zvolením papežem. Oslovuje v nich různé adresáty na různá témata: jak střežit poklad víry a přitom si ho nenechat jen pro sebe; problémy výchovy v současném světě; pastorace ve městě; růst ve víře; téma práce; ochrana dětí a péče o seniory; chudoba, sociální dluhy a sociální spravedlnost… Důrazy, které dnes coby papež vnáší do církve a společnosti, se tedy neobjevují až s jeho zvolením, ale vyrůstají z jeho dřívějších postojů a z letitých zkušeností dělníka na Kristově vinici.

V nakladatelství Paulínky vyšla kniha „Pokora, cesta k Bohu“, první knižní titul na českém trhu, jehož autorem je papež František. Jedná se drobný spisek, který napsal ještě jako kardinál J. M. Bergoglio. Inspirován starobylou duchovní praxí otců pouště, zvláště Dorotheem z Gazy, vytyčuje věřícím stále aktuální cestu autentické křesťanské pokory, která je základem každého opravdového společenství. Připravují se další dva (již podstatně rozsáhlejší) tituly z doby jeho biskupského působení („Otevřená mysl, věřící srdce“ a „Skutečná moc je služba“). Ještě během května vyjde životopisná kniha „Papež František. Život a výzvy“ zkušeného italského novináře S. Gaety, který představuje nejen životní cestu papeže Františka, ale i výzvy, které před něj staví jeho nový úřad a nevyhýbá se ani citlivým tématům katolické církve dneška.

Modlitba je dech duše. Často se nemodlíme, protože si myslíme, že je to těžké, nebo že je těžké vzpomenout si na všechny, za které je třeba se modlit. Predkladáme texty siedmich podnetných katechéz pápeža Františka, ktoré zazneli postupne pri generálnych audienciách roku 2014 v Ríme. Jeho podanie môže byť na úžitok nielen novým birmovancom, ale všetkým, ktorí chcú hlbšie spoznať Ducha Svätého a otvoriť sa jeho životodárnému pôsobeniu.

Rozhovor s papežem Františkem na téma misijního rozměru církve volně navazuje na encykliku Evangelii gaudium z roku 2013. Tentokrát papež hovoří velice osobním tónem a používá mnohé příklady a zkušenosti z vlastního života. Jde mu o to, abychom nezapomněli, že každý máme ve světě své jedinečné poslání, přičemž „bez něho nemůžeme dělat nic“ (srov. Jan 15,5). Misijní poslání křesťanů se nezakládá na lidské výmluvnosti ani na strategiích a metodách, ale na „síle přitažlivosti“, jíž působí živý Kristus v srdcích lidí: kéž by tak mohl volně působit i skrze každého z nás.

Tématem čtvrté encykliky papeže Františka Dilexit nos (Zamiloval si nás) jsou lidská a božská láska Srdce Ježíše Krista, náš duchovní život i život ve společenství tváří v tvář hektickému životnímu tempu, všudypřítomným novým technologiím a konzumnímu vnímání světa a našich vztahů. Papež uvažuje do hloubky i do šířky o srdci, protože právě v srdci, a ne ve sféře inteligence či rozumu, má skutečné kořeny veškeré snažení, vášně i rozhodnutí každého člověka. František navazuje na své předchůdce a nabízí podněty rozvíjející úctu ke Kristovu Srdci na míru člověku žijícímu v dnešním neklidném světě. „Kristovo otevřené srdce nás předchází a očekává nás, aniž by nám kladlo nějaké podmínky a aniž by předem vznášelo nějaké požadavky, aby nás mohlo milovat a nabídnout nám své přátelství. On si nás zamiloval jako první, díky Ježíšovi ‘jsme uvěřili a poznali lásku, jakou má Bůh k nám’ (1 Jan 4,16).“ Kniha vyjde s církevním schválením.

Il testo dell’Esortazione Apostolica che avremo tra le mani non è un trattato sulla santità, ma una sorta di preziosa lettera scritta da papa Francesco a tutti coloro che vogliano seriamente e concretamente rimettersi in cammino sulla via della santità. Stupisce il modo con il quale il Papa si rivolge ai suoi interlocutori. Lo fa usando includendosi, non semplicemente indicando una via; lo fa precedendo e accompagnando lungo un percorso che egli per primo, in comunione con tutti, sente di dover compiere. Lo si percepisce leggendo: quel «noi» da lui usato non è semplicemente esortativo; è un «noi» pregno di senso, un «noi» proprio di chi si sente pienamente coinvolto in un percorso da vivere, in una chiamata a cui dare voce, in risposte da incarnare in contesti contemporanei.
