This is a lovingly edited coffee-table soft-cover exhibition catalog of an historical survey held at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in the fall of 1984, showing many interesting artist's with artworks from the early 1980's. MoMA's Kynaston L. McShine curated the exhibition. Thanks to careful editorial work by Harriet Schoenholz Bee and Jane Fluegel, this publication, handsomely designed by Stephen Doyle and Thomas Kluepfel, is a reliable art historical and a unique archival document where each exhibited artist is given their deserved recognition with a brief biography along with photographs of the exhibited artworks.
