This book reviews mysticism from the beginning of recorded history up to the present day, not only reviewing mystics themselves, but numerous other pertinent sources of information such as philosophers, physicists, discarnate sources, and ancient traditions. From all these source, as well as the personal experience of the author, an overall picture of our basic reality structure is developed, its basic operating systems examined, and its meaning for modern man explored.
