On 18 August 2013, President Tony Tan launched a very special publication called "In 99 Words: Stories Librarians Tell" - a compilation of 99 anecdotes 99-words long, the book is a celebration of librarians in Singapore. The Book was launched during the IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2013, hosted in Singapore.
