Unordnung im Zimmer eines 10jährigen ist nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber bei Zack ist das Chaos unübertroffen, als ein Poltergeist sein Unwesen zu treiben beginnt. Das 3. Abenteuer (nach Band 1 und 2 in BA 12/05, Band 4 ebenfalls in dieser Nr.) hat unsichtbare Mächte zum Thema. Mithilfe eines Geisterbuchs und eines BannRituals wollen Zack und sein Vater den ungebetenen Gast loswerden und erfahren, dass es der armen Wanda (so lautet der Name des Poltergeists) einfach nur langweilig ist. Eine Lösung ist schnell in Sicht, denn auch bei Zacks Klassenkameraden Vernon treibt ein Geist sein Unwesen. Allerdings verstehen sich die beiden Geister so gut wie Zack und Vernon, nämlich überhaupt nicht. Dan Greenburg erzählt routiniert, witzig und peppt angestaubte Geistergeschichten mit originellen Details auf. So antwortete Wanda beispielsweise mit Smarties, die sie zu Wörtern arrangiert, die voller Rechtschreibfehler stecken. Auch für wenig geübte Leser ein Vergnügen mit großer Schrift und vielen Illustrationen. Gern zur Fortsetzung empfohlen. Zack traut am Morgen seinen Augen kaum: Ordentlich war sein Zimmer noch nie, aber jetzt ist es das reinste Chaos. Ein Poltergeist treibt sein Unwesen.
