Cette auteure est une artiste de longue date qui est retournée dans sa Cornouailles natale après avoir vécu ailleurs pendant de nombreuses années. Sa carrière artistique a débuté à l'adolescence et depuis 1997, date à laquelle elle a reçu sa première commande de Hallmark Cards UK, elle est devenue une artiste professionnelle. Elle est spécialisée dans l'illustration de livres pour enfants, ses œuvres étant publiées dans le monde entier et traduites dans plus de dix langues. En plus de l'illustration de livres, elle crée également des peintures sur toile et sur panneau, expose localement, conçoit des pochettes de CD et produit des animations pour des clips musicaux.
