    Winnie Mandela est considérée comme l'une des figures les plus célébrées, et pourtant controversées, d'Afrique du Sud. Icône de la lutte à part entière, elle a été mariée à Nelson Mandela jusqu'en 1996. Après la chute de l'Apartheid, elle a été membre du Parlement et Vice-Ministre. Sa vie demeure une partie significative, bien que débattue, de l'histoire sud-africaine.
