While offering a non-historical vision of the most representative tall buildings of the 1990s, this survey focuses on the architectural challenge of making the scale of skyscrapers compatible with the traditional city, particularly in Asia. The 80 buildings are arranged alphabetically, each with a brief introductory text (in English, Italian and Dutch), plans and photographs.
