En savoir plus sur le livre
At the age of ten in the mid-1970s, David Marcum discovered Mr. Sherlock Holmes and realized that the original 60 adventures would never satisfy his passion. His lifelong desire to write led him to create new stories for The Great Holmes Tapestry. Over the years, David collected and chronologized thousands of traditional Sherlockian pastiches. In 2008, during a layoff from his civil engineering job, he found inspiration in Watson's Tin Dispatch Box, leading to the creation of The Papers of Sherlock Holmes. Initially shelved, these first nine short stories were published in 2011 by a small press and later by MX Publishing in 2013, marking the beginning of his prolific journey. Since then, David has edited over 60 volumes, primarily Sherlockian anthologies, and published over 80 adventures across various platforms. Now, these works are being compiled, including previously unseen stories. The first five volumes encompass the majority of his Holmesian tales, with more adventures planned for release in 2022. Join us as we revisit Baker Street and uncover more authentic adventures of Sherlock Holmes, described by Dr. Watson as "the best and wisest . . . whom I have ever known." The game is afoot! Volume V features 20 Holmes adventures, including "The Stolen Relic," "The Helverton Inheritance," and "The Edinburgh Bankers."
