Arabic Documents from Medieval Nubia

The collection of Arabic documents from the 11th and 12th centuries offers valuable insights into the interactions between Egypt and Nubia during the High Middle Ages, particularly in the Fatimid period. Accompanied by English translations and thorough analyses, these documents challenge previous historical narratives that relied heavily on later historiographical sources, which may have been biased.
