The Murderous Tyranny of the Turks

En savoir plus sur le livre

No one familiar with the Near East's history over the last five centuries will be surprised by the Allied Powers' intent to end Turkish rule in Europe. Their determination to liberate the Christian population within the Turkish Empire, both in Asia and Europe, from a government that has consistently oppressed them is commendable and long overdue. These changes should have occurred over a century ago, as it became evident that the Turk was unfit to govern diverse religious groups justly. Historically, the Turk has excelled only in warfare, lacking the ability to administer effectively. Although he once employed capable Christian administrators, he has failed to secure justice and has proven to be a corrupt and cruel governing power. His legacy is one of destruction rather than creation. This work is a reproduction of a significant historical text, published by Forgotten Books, which preserves the original format while addressing imperfections in the aged copy. While some flaws may remain, they are intentionally left to maintain the integrity of historical works.
