Set against a backdrop of oppression, a senior officer in State Security begins to question his loyalty to a tyrant after witnessing a brutal execution. Disillusioned, he abandons his privileged life to lead a group of freedom seekers on a perilous journey. With nowhere to escape tyranny on their planet, they seek refuge on a mountaintop while awaiting rescue from the Danori, an alien race.
