Prayer serves as a conduit for God to perform these miracles in our lives, addressing our needs in ways that often defy understanding. Dr. Elliott firmly rejects the notions of chance and coincidence, emphasizing the miracle-working power of God. Born in Hapeville, Georgia, Dr. Elliott accepted the Lord at 12 and committed to the full-time gospel ministry shortly thereafter. He was baptized by the First Baptist Church in Hapeville and licensed to preach in 1960. After high school, he earned a BA in Psychology from Carson-Newman College, followed by a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1978, he obtained a Doctor of Ministry Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Elliott has served as a pastor in Texas and Florida for over a decade and has been involved with the Jacksonville Baptist Association and the Florida Baptist Convention for 27 years. Notably, he holds the title of "Chaplain Emeritus" of the Florida Air National Guard, having served as Senior Chaplain for nearly 31 years. Currently, he leads a senior adult Bible study, plays in the church orchestra, and enjoys writing.
