En savoir plus sur le livre

Lanik Mueller is the heir of one of the richest families on the remote planet Treason. As descendants of a geneticist, he and his clan possess a unique ability: they can grow additional limbs and organs, which are then amputated and sold to an intergalactic organ bank. This provides Lanik's family with the money for urgently needed metals, as they still dream of building a spaceship and leaving their planet, where they have been held for three thousand years because their ancestors were rebels. As Lanik's body increasingly produces new organs, he is cast out—and a dangerous odyssey begins. He is hunted and pursued, but then he realizes that the people of Treason have only one chance: they must unite to break the chains of their bondage. But how can an outcast make himself heard when the whole world hates him?
