Book of Dreams

Évaluation du livre

En savoir plus sur le livre

For years, Jack Kerouac had the habit of keeping a notebook and a pencil by his bedside. Every morning, as soon as he woke up, he recorded everything he could remember about the dreams he had during the night. From these notes, he created this sort of "parallel autobiography" filtered through his dream activity. The dreams narrated here feature many of the characters from the stories of the author of On the Road, recognizable thanks to the correspondence table suggested by Kerouac himself. Unusual and original, the Book of Dreams is a work illuminated by spontaneous and fascinating writing, a window into the inner world of a great writer.
