En savoir plus sur le livre
After a lifetime as the enforcer for London-based Maltese gangland boss Big Joe Bonello, Gerry Duffy is enjoying retirement in Malta. When his idyll is rudely interrupted by a visit from two officers from the Metropolitan Police's Special Branch. They present Duffy with a dilemma that sets off a series of events that culminate in the former hired gun being told to execute a hit on Lou Falzon, the one time Maltese prime minister and probably the most high profile politician on the Island and in the rest of the world. Will Duffy allow himself to be extradited to Britain and certain incarceration, or will he agree to take a pop at Falzon? This dilemma is at the core of Begbie's fast-moving crime story. With an unexpected twist right at the end.
