Les Robins Séries

Oxford Reading Tree Robins provide extension stories designed for competent readers to engage with longer, more complex narratives. The new packs feature updated covers and reset text aligned with the New Edition Oxford Reading Tree. The characters, storylines, and settings reflect everyday life at home, school, and in the community. Suitable for Stages 6-10, they are matched to Book Bands for easy reference. Each pack contains six stories along with a Teaching Notes booklet. The 24-page Teaching Notes booklet, sized for easy classroom management, includes a Vocabulary Chart of Year 1 high-frequency and context words, as well as a Curriculum Coverage Chart detailing activities and outcomes for England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. Each story is accompanied by individual notes and suggested activities that emphasize comprehension. The booklet features sections for Group and Independent Reading Activities, Speaking and Listening Activities, and Writing, with each section aligned to relevant NLS Objectives. Prompts and suggestions for responding to the stories, sharing personal experiences, making cross-curricular connections, and role play are also included, along with guidance on assessing student progress. The layout is designed to be user-friendly and efficient.
