The Marxian hermeneutics of Fredric Jameson

The Marxian Hermeneutics of Fredric Jameson examines the critical thought of Jameson in relation to phenomenological hermeneutics and the critical theorists of the Frankfurt Institute. This study includes chapters on Jameson's work from the 1960s to the early 1990s, focusing on figures who influenced his thought such as Augustine, Northrop Frye, Goethe, Wilhelm von Humboldt, Theodor W.
