Preston To Blackpool

A fascinating look at the railways of the Fylde region, from the early days right up to the eve of electrification. The landscape may be fairly flat but the huge variety of trains and locomotives made up for this. In addition, at one time close on 50 signal boxes were in operation, many of them pictured here.
