It's It's Only A Few Dodgy Cells

In February 2013, I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. It's Only a Few Dodgy Cells, is the very personal story of my subsequent battle with the disease and how, as a family, we faced up to our new challenges. It is a totally honest, heart on my sleeve account of events and so, I invite you to share in the myriad of emotions that we all went through. I'm sure that they are emotions that all cancer patients experience. I hope that you find my story both moving and strange as it may seem, also funny, because although there were some dark days, there were also many more moments of joy and laughter. We're all a lot tougher than we realise and I hope that my experience helps to educate and inspire others who are going through similar difficult times. But throughout it all, what really kept me strong, was that I never lost focus on my one primary goal. That goal was the thought of holding my wife Ann in my arms, looking into her eyes and saying to her, "I told you I beat it!"
