Shadows of Flight

The narrative follows a former Royal Navy pilot who transitions from flying supersonic jets to farming in the challenging environment of Northern Rhodesia. Over nearly two decades, he thrives as a farmer, cultivating tobacco and maize while managing cattle. Eventually, he returns to aviation as a charter pilot, ultimately becoming a training captain for an airline operating BAC 1-11 aircraft in the Mediterranean. The story explores themes of adventure, adaptation, and the diverse experiences of a life dedicated to both agriculture and aviation.
