The Palaeography of Gothic Manuscript Books

Offering a comprehensive survey of book scripts in western and central Europe from around 1100 to 1530, this work addresses a significant gap in palaeographical studies. It introduces a new classification system based on objective criteria, aiming to clarify the complexities of late-medieval handwriting.
