Set in Fairbanks, Alaska, the story follows Julia Silver, who returns two decades after covering the tragic murder of local basketball star Josh Harrison's girlfriend, which ended with his suicide. As she confronts her lingering guilt about the past, Julia faces a new threat in the form of a dangerous stalker, intertwining her personal struggles with a fresh wave of terror in her life.
