Poems from the Heart

Having found a deep sense of security and comfort in her relationship with God, Charissa artfully explores life through an engaging and exciting collection of contemplative and inspiring heart-felt pomes. Taking a first person approach, she expresses the joys and struggles of life, explores the deep emotions of love and grief, and muses on spiritual truths, relationships, and what life and love are about, all the while maintaining a hopeful outlook. About the Author: A native Floridian, Charisa Celeste Denham, is an artist at heart. She earned her Master's degree in piano performance from The Boston Conservatory and holds a B.M. degree in voice and piano performance from Florida Southern College. For over 13 years, she has enjoyed teaching and coaching future musicians as well as participating in occasional performances. Charissa finds pleasure expressing her thoughts and emotions not only through music but also through poetry.
