Fully illustrated with Auguste Rodin’s major works, this first Guide to the Musée Rodin Collections will accompany visitors on an unprecedented tour of the museum, encompassing not only sculptures in marble (The Kiss, Danaïd…), bronze (The Gates of Hell, The Thinker…) and plaster (Monument to the Burghers of Calais…), but also lesser-known drawings, engravings and paintings by the artist to which the public seldom have access, for reasons of conservation and lack of space.
