Being the diaries of Florence (Florrie) Lyne Paget (1856-1933) who travelled with her mother Mary Ann (Myrrie) Paget nee Spurrett (1834-1900) visiting the cities of Paris, Macon, Turin, Milan, Bologna, Rome, Pisa, Venice, Bellagio, Lyon, Marseille, Cannes, Nice, Menton, Monte Carlo, San Remo, Genoa, Siena and Verona between November 1875 and May 1878 and those of Brussels, Antwerp, Cologne, Walterhausen, Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, Prague, Nuremberg, Passau, Linz, Salsburg, Munich, Vienna, Buda, Pest and Gyéres (Roumania) between 1879 and 1880.
